- The real purpose is it helps the linked website gain a little more credibility (ranking) in search-engines if there are links to it from other credible sites. Making it easier for a visitor to find your site when searching Google or whatever
(whether or not they visited this site).

It would be nice (but not required) if you'd put a reciprocal link on your pages to CountyWiFi.net so we get found easier too.
